We got back from Disneyland on the 28, yes Amy’s birthday. We, the Finsand’s, got to enjoy a wonderful vacation with the Nat and Boyd Cook Family. It was great! The kids were so cute. They are full of fun! They enjoyed every moment of it. It was a little rainy but that didn’t stop us! In fact the rain is well worth the short lines. Are longest wait was Peter Pan Ride which Humble made us go on. The kids loved seeing the characters. We had a whole system down to make sure that we didn’t miss one. We enjoyed a fun dinner thanks to mother. Anyway, thanks Cook’s for a great trip. We love you and hope you still love us after all the fun!
Well just to let you know we ended the season with 3 wins, 3 ties and 1 loss. It has been great to have Chase enjoy this sport so much. He’s a fun kid and is a joy to have in our family!!
Chase has been playing flag football this year! He is doing very good at it. He has even scored a few times which is great because he is playing on a team with kids older than him. They didn’t have any more room on the 1-2 grade team so he is on a team with 3-4 graders. They have tied one game, lost one game and have won 2 games so far. They have 3 games left. It’s been so fun watching him this year.
I took it upon myself to draw names since we forgot to do it at the last family home evening. This is was not a rigged event!! Faith helped me by drawing the names. I will try to remember to bring a hard copy to the next FHE or I will mail you one. The first name listed is the giver and the second name is the receiver. Sorry for any miss spellings of your kids names.

We had the great opportunity to attend Emma and Shayann’s soccer games. They both are great players and have a lot of energy. Keep it up girls!!!
Over the past couple months there have been some complaints about the condo being a mess. Please make sure that when you take your turn at the condo you clean everything on the cleaning list that was in the packet that Father gave us before he left. And hey, think of this, it might even be nice if you took the time to “go the extra mile” and clean something that isn’t on the list. If each of us would do a little extra it would make the condo even that much more enjoyable. Thank you! I know each of us will do better!
I just want to update everyone on the condo. I talked to Lisa Avie and we concluded the scrapbook party will continue to be in October. It will be the week of October 9th. Due to this, both condo’s will be up for grabs May 1st. Also, the only remaining summer weeks are as follows: May 29th for the big one and September 11th for both condos. I’m very sorry to those who have not scheduled as of yet but you know the saying: first come first served (or be the one to control the schedule). Also if there is a summer week you would like to go up but it is booked let me know and I will give you the name of the person going up and we can see if there would be room for both families.
I also noticed that we have both condos over conference weekend, which is the week of March 27th. As of yet no one has scheduled them, so if anyone would like to take advantage of them, call me and I will get you scheduled.
One other note: If you were lucky enough to get a summer week this year enjoy it and don’t feel slided if you don’t get one in the summer of 2008. Thank you and let’s all remember it is a privilege, not a right, to go to the condo. And thanks to Father and Mother for sharing!!
