Okay this is Nat by the way, I can’t remember my password so I am using LB’s. We are having FHE on Sat. Oct. 28. This FHE will be in Salt Lake at our house. We would love for you all to RSVP because we have to know exactly who will all be there. We are going to have a murder mystery night. I will send your characters in the mail as soon as I hear back from all the families. We realize that the Leonard adults won’t be able to come. So let us know asap.
This is the name of my new business. I now have two assistance, Amy and a guy named Chris Anderson. Chris has been in the tax world for over five years and was a part owner of a tax practice. It has been great to have their assistance and I look forward to utilizing their abilities. It is a lot more difficult to run a business then one could plan for, but that is why have am surrounding myself with people such as these. I am just finishing up some pages of a book that will be published soon. It is just a short little part, but it has been a very interesting learning experience. I was going to have Andy edit it, but I was just running way to short on time; next time for sure Andy.
Anyway, I want to let you all know, sorry for the late notice, that I will be on a radio show tomorrow at 9:00 am. You can either log onto the internet or tune in on the radio. Go to freedomfasttrack.com and click on the radio links or tune in on KTALK AM 630. This one is only an hour where the last one was two. I guess I was too boring last time.
Just thought I would put that out there. Hope everyone is doing well. Natalie gets home tomorrow from girls camp so it will be great to see her again. I know the girls are anxious to see her. We love you all and hope the best for everyone.
You can go to Flickr to see some pictures of the big day.

We had a great time. You will also see some pictures of Eliza and Abigail’s lemonade stand. They were so cute about it. They want to do it every day; which, depending on how things go at the new work, they might be out there with Aunt Amy. Natalie will have to give you the details.
Love, Boyd
The LB Cook Reunion was a good one; too bad we missed so many of you. Brett did an awesome job on the program. It was about Grandpa Loyal and his journal that he wrote prior to marrying Grandmother. You should all be receiving a bound copy of it. I have read a lot of it, from Sandy’s copy as well as from the copy Brett gave us. It cracks me up. He was quite the man. It reminds me of the old time movies. Brett pointed out some pretty funny stories and we talked a little about what Grandfather Cook must have been going through at different stages in his life. He is an awesome example of a loving husband and his journal shows how much he loves Grandma. Anyway, all of Aunt Deanna’s family was there except Brea, Nicole and Lori. Kim and I were the only ones there from our family. Patricia and Kelly were there. All of Uncle Stott’s family was there. The Hulmes were missing Loyal, Uncle Charles, and Heidi. Grandma was there in the morning and it was great to see her.
We missed you and hope to see you next year. Love, Boyd and Nat
Just wanted to give Pa and all our two bits. The very last poem that Uncle Barry gave was my favorite. It talked about a Ship sailing off toward the horizon and though “I” could no longer see the ship, it continued on its journey, the same hole ship that it was before. I love Barry and will have to email Pa about some of our conversations. The funeral was amazing and how could it have not been; given the fact it was about an amazing Lady. Here are some pictures…

We had a great time at Rifle Gap. It was a fun place to have the reunion. We had to make it a short trip, up Friday and home today. We stopped at Grandma and Grandpa’s as well as the Dino Park on the way home. Grandma looked good while we where there, but has been having a hard time; so, if any of you can, I would suggest going and visiting. They love seeing everyone and even Grandma loves telling you about how great life is.

this is my first time using this stupid flickr so I hope it works.
Well, I thought I should tell the family before everyone finds out, and I’m not sure if this is what Pa was looking for or not for his secret, but I will be starting my own business and leaving Cook Martin Poulson soon; like some time before July 1. It will make for some exciting times and I am really looking forward to it. Cook Martin Poulson has always been good to me, but I just feel my family will be better served with me making this change. My new business will be a consulting practice that I believe will be awesome. I have some great contacts and associates to work with and am prepared to meet this challenge head on. My new office is just down the street from our home which will be nice as well. Natalie and I have thought a lot about this and each time we think maybe we should not be taking this step something happens to tell us other wise. Please pray for me and my family as I know we could always use the Lord’s assistance. So, I guess it is now Rod that will get to boss Amy around all day; man, that much I will defenitly miss. Rod has done an awesome job and hit the door running. He has assisted many of my clients that have commented will on him. In fact today I talked to one, Brandon Fry, that said he loves working with Rod and is glad that at least someone is taking care of him. Amy, obviously, is the best office manager ever. I really don’t know what I would have done with out her and the firm certainly would not be where it is today if Amy was not there; and not just because she saves relationships for me, but because everyone can tell that she is a loving and genuean person.
Anyway, just though you all should know. Love you all! Boyd
Okay all, it is time to live life the way it is ment to be lived. We would have liked to come up earlier, but the girls have soccer on Saturday so we will be up around 4; which sounds like right when we are starting. Natalie and I are so excited to have time to spend with everyone. Eliza went to school on Monday and for Show and Tell she said, “I am so excited! Tuesday tax season is over and my dad will have freedom. He and my mom are going on a date and I get to have a baby-sitter over for the whole night.” It was so cute. She also told our neighbor that on Tuesday we have freedom. It was so funny. When Eliza asked us what we were going to do Tuesday night I said, “what do you think we should do?” She said she thought we would go to the condo for some piece. I just love those little girls.
Well, we did have a great time Tuesday night and an awesome day today with the other Tax Season Zombie family. I always love spending time with our family. Thank you, everyone, for being an AMAZING family. I love you all, Boyd
For those that may not have been able to make the Priesthood Session, Pa, here are some of the things that I got from it.
Elder Worthland – Told some stories of playing football. They were fun stories. He talked about not taking your eye off the ball and to do what is right and let the consequence follow. One phrase he quoted was, “The Priesthood means services; bearing the priesthood I will serve.”
Elder Hales – Spoke to the Aaronic Priesthood holders. He said, you made a decision prior to coming to Earth that you would be a leader. Elder Hales calls the 20s the decade of decision. Become prepared for your 20s while you are young. True friends make it easier to live the gospel; are you living and being the friend you would want your eternal companion to be. Do not practice selective obedience. Elder Hales then talked about “being there”. Be there when it is time to get baptized. Be there for your ordination to the priesthood. Be there when your mission is called. Be there when your bride to be is at the alter and be there when the Lord calls you home. Be there!
Bishop McMullin – You are in charge of your world. No one can make decisions for you and no one can force you to do anything. Be Faithful, unencumber your life, and lay up in store. Be prepared in your food storage and be prepared in your spiritual life as well.
Elder Faust – We are the agents of the Lord. Become a man of God. Don’t play victim. You are in charge of your destiny. “In my carrier I was never worse off for standing up for my faith”.
President Monson – There are 6.5 billion people in the world and you are an elect and select few that hold the priesthood. The priesthood is not like a set of clothes that you can take on and off. Make the decision now to put on the priesthood. “Come follow me and I will direct your paths.”
President Hinckley – Be more dedicated. Put your shoulder to the wheel. He then talked about Joseph F. Smith and the dream that he had while serving a mission in Hawaii. ( I will not go into details but you should read about the dream on your own) If you are clean you can face anything. Be ye vessels of the Lord. Be clean in language, thought, body and spirit. Speak clean language, have clean thoughts, don’t get tattoos, stay away from bad internet sites and dress clean. Get an education, it is the door that Joseph F. Smith knocked on. Speak in prayer to the Lord.
