Too easy, Andy, that was John McCain. The debates will be interesting this year. I hope they organize them better than in the primaries.
I was disappointed to see Obama not accept McCain’s proposal for 10 town hall meetings. But everything I read also says McCain’s proposal was intended to be unobtainable, i.e. makes Obama look like a dork.
BTW, for conservatives thinking McCain is more liberal than George W. Bush, the New York Times has an interesting story about how McCain and Bush are essentially the same. See the link.
