This was a crazy, amazing, wonderful, exciting, fun, enjoyable, and memorable experience. I felt horrible about missing the home-coming, but this was an experience I will never forget. These people live in pure poverty, and yet, they are truly some of the most happy people I have ever met. It is funny because on my mission I met many very poor people and many times they looked to blame many people. These beautiful people are very excited about life and just love everyone. The children are so precious and I can just see the Savior gathering them close. I just wanted to bring each of them home. It is not that they “need” things, it is just they “deserve” more.
We met with many looking for micro loans and it was awesome to see their desires. Some, naturally looking for handouts, and some with true intentions of becoming self sufficient and assisting their people.
It was amazing! Look at the pictures.
Thanks for the pictures. It does remind me a lot of Laos but the school is 10 times better than many we visited in Laos but the kids are wonderful every where. They just smile and love life because that is all they know. We should take an example from them.
