Change in Plans

We had some conflicts with Dec. 22, so I have changed the family party to the 23rd. It’s a Sunday. Anyone wishing to come Saturday, can stay at my house. We’ll start at 5:00. We’ll be having dinner, assignments to come, and we’ll be doing the white elephants. Please bring a white elephant gift for each member of your family. For example, we have 6 people in our family, so we’ll bring 6 gifts. They can be fun, funny, or something else. Have fun with it. Love you all.

Anyone welcome…

to add comments. After talking with some of the fam, I think it would be best to keep the rotation for the Holidays the way it is; however, it would be up to the individual families to decide if they want to see the focials two years in a row, just as they saw the other family two years in a row. There are to many families it would effect to change the rotation. I thought it would be best if I said this, since it doesn’t make a difference to Natalie and I, given the fact that Natalie is an only child and we do not have to worry about other siblings and their rotations.

I love having Christmas together, but thought this needed addressed, especially after Pa’s email. Love you all and look forward to the Holiday season! Can’t wait for the Cook party, the food, the football, the children excited and joyful, and most of all the remembering of our Savior. God bless you, every one.

So…it is official. I am going to be a reader on the Polar Express this year! I am so excited, but just got my schedule today and realized that my first night is one week from today. SCARY! Anyway, for those that are interested I will be reading the following nights:

Wednesday, November 21st (yes I know…Christmas befor Thanksgiving, but what do you do)

Saturday, December 8th

Saturday, December 22nd

If you decide you want to go (and I really won’t feel bad if you don’t it is pretty pricy) make sure to tell them you want to be on my car if there is still room (I am pretty popular) Here is the web site if you want to check it out. www.hebervalleyrr.org

Julie Through The Glass: THE MORMONS

When I was a little kid, I remember crying after watching this commercial. Little did I know I would join this church a decade later. I love how at the end it says “THE MORMONS.” Also, when I was little, I thought this said, “Looking through the glass…” not “Julie through the glass.” So, take a trip back to the early 80s with me and enjoy this video.

The Killers: Read My Mind

I think I figured out how to post video without it making the blog go completely insane. So this is a little test. And this song rocks. Enjoy.

Who said it….

Where can you find this famous quote?

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.”

Movie Quote Quiz

What movie is this line from, who says it and what is it in reference to?

“I know why you denied my sister. When I was younger… you used to hold my arm when I walked. Then suddenly you stopped. One day, I even tripped in your presence and nearly fell. I was faking, of course, but still you did not hold me. Sometimes we don’t do things we want to do so that others won’t know we want to do them.”

Bigfoot Spotted in Pine Tree

Most thought it was the mysterious Sasquatch, but after further review, the person in the photo below is Rod.

Oh, but wait.

Not just a grainy, night shot of Rod, but a grainy, night shot of Rod in the top of the big pine tree, retreiving JD’s stuck football.

November FHE

Thanks to Amy and JJ for the Joseph Smith lesson and the pizza feast yesterday evening. It was great seeing all of you! Tonya, JD, Shay and Lil’ Guy Brown made an appearance later in the evening. An invite to Aunt Mary was sent and returned. I appreciate all of you letting her come over and treating her with kindness and love, those are the best ingredients when someone is going through a hard time in their life. In any regard, some pics below! Enjoy!
