FYI, as of 3 PM little Duke has not been officially named. I’ll let you know if anything changes.
Thanks for the instant pictures. I needed them so bad. He is so beautiful and perfect and I love him so much already. Thank you Tonya and Shane for another perfect little grandson. They come to us so perfect and so sweet and wonderful. Take good care of him and his darling mother. Thanks again for the pictures. Have a great weekend!
I’m pushing for Hunter Brown!!!! That fits. That was Humble idea.
I added some pictures on Flickr…just click on the link….
thanks for the pictures. I can’t wait to hold the li’l guy.
Ah! He is so cute!!!
so we got the chance to go meet “baby Boy” that is what we have started callling him because of Zola. Anyway, everyone had had a chance to hold him then Zola says to me as she points to “baby Boy” she says “baby’s specail”. It was so awesome. She said it a couple of times. It is always so awesome when the wee little ones say something so tender and so very true. He is such a specail baby. When we walked into the room you could feel his huge spirit in his tiny body. It made me cry. I wanted to stay all night. You can’t really tell by the pictures because I think that he looks different then depicted in them, but he has a definate Brown look about him, kinda like the look that he has in the pictue with Sandy. Anyway, enough of my ramblings. It was so fun to see him. We all love him so much.
Can’t wait to see him. He looks great!! So does Tonya. Love you all so much.
Please post the name as soon as you know wnat it is. We sugest Joseph Howard and call him Joe.
Really???? I thought Duke looks the most “Cook” of all Tonya’s kids…. And I think you get a better over all look at him if you see ALL the pictures posted on Flickr. As of this afternoon they still had not picked a name. They have to decide by Monday so I am sure one is coming soon. Right now the names they are thinking of are Evan, Danstin, and Tanner. For sure his middle name will be Howard…..we were all encouraging Tonya on Evan since that is/was Shane’s grandpa’s name….and he adored Tonya. Anyway….we will see. It kinda reminds me of how you guys brought home little Amy without a name….lol Sam really wants to name him “Little Guy” or “Little Brown”….JD thought that was pretty funny…
Thi is Jenny not Rod, I feel jippped that I did’t get to go see the baby!! And I am so sad that The quilt I made didn’t get taken to you tonya! It turned out cute though and you’ll get it this week. Good luck on the name. Don’t worry about everyone else, pick what YOU guys like best. He is so cute!! I can’t wait til I have my own little man and they are gonna be little buddies! Tonya, you are such a great mom and a great example to all of us. Love you tons and congrats!
That is what is awesome about this family, everyone gives their sometimes forward opinions and everyone in the family is so good to not be pressured to do what everyone else wants. Everyone is very stong willed in the family. I gues that is where Zola gets it. It is in her blood, can’t wait to meet that Great Grandma Zola.
