Halloween and the Leonards

Well, the Leanards have been very good kids. They love saying prayers and reading their scriptures each night and even say our cheer with us. They are all very good readers. Each have a good testimony. We had a regional conference on Sunday and they were very well behaved. Kaden didn’t have his scriptures and as we pulled into the parking lot said, “it feels weird not having my scriptures.” It was very precious. Tonight we carved pumpkins. Each got to pick out their own pumpkin, from a real pumpkin patch, and then drew their face for me to carve. Kaden and Alex carved their own and did an awesome job. The hole time Alex was carving hers, Kaden was right there coaching. It was fun. Anyway, there are some photos on Flickr.com Sorry if this link doesn’t work.

Check out the pictures on FLICKR.

Thanks for the fun pictures. You were brave to do puimpkins with the whole gang but what a treat. That is the same number of kids we had right?

This is Nat: As you can see we have had alot of fun. Sorry that I wasn’t awake when you called. I am enjoying having Eliza off track so don’t count on me being up til 8. The kids have been so good. It was a little comical going to church and watching Kathy’s face as she came around the corner in the chapel for stake conference and saw us looking like Barb and Dwight. Seven kids; Five girls and two boys. The only kids I got after were my own, they were all pretty good. We have the kitchen table extended and the fridge is still semi stocked. I told Boyd that it was nice to have someone really enjoy my meals. The Leonard kids are good eaters, not like my bird eaters. They really are so pollite and grateful. Thanks for letting us have a turn with the kids. I am going to go now, I deserve a shower. Love all four of you. Nat
ps as you may have guessed that I typed exactly what the kids wanted me too. And sorry for the pictures being side ways. Boyd has two odd behaviors that come to mind as I looked at how the picture turned out. He doesn’t mind looking at pictures sideways and he doesn’t mind not being able to see out of car wind shields whether it is caked with bugs and he is out of wiper fluid for 6 months. He also doesn’t care if it is raining, he chooses to NOT turn on the wipers, rather than being able to see!!!!!!

This is Kim. Thanks so much for the pictures. I’m sorry I woke you up on Sunday. I forgot a little about the time change. Sounds like the kids are doing well. I hope they are. Thank you for the pumpkins. My kids love to do that and I didn’t know if they would get to this year. You guys are awesome. Kids, we love you. We spoke in church, it was fun. The Branch is wonderful. We love Laos already. Be good. I’m glad you’re having fun. Love you so much.

today we went to the Zoo. Alex was a good sport to tend while I went to an hour of young women’s. It was a combine activity where we planned all the activities for the next year. I took little Zola to ease her pain. They are all in bed now. Not asleep but in bed. We almost backed out of pumkin carving but we started to figure when you would get back and realized that it might not happen so we went for it and it was a blast!!! A blast of seeds all over my kitchen. Just kidding, Boyd did all the clean up as I did baths with all the girls minus Alex. Kaden took care of Brigham, don’t know how that went. Oh btw, Kaden was a little suprised of my lack of knowledge and desire of baked pumpkin seeds. I got the low down and maybe i will make some next year and send them to him in the mail. you’re such a great mom. These kids are so blessed to have you. But i have temporarly adopted them. I will tell them you spoke in church on Sun and that you are having fun and you love them. Nat
