Wow, John Cusak has come a long way since “Better Off Dead.” This movie, “Grace is Gone,” looks phenomenal.
It’s nice to finally have my computer back and running again. It’s been a month without it. I was just going to figure out flickr when it died. Now I have to figure out how to get everything back I lost. What a pain. Anyway, I’ve been going to the library once a week to keep up but that is such a pain. I know, I’ve been spoiled this past year, thanks to Scott. Anyway, hopefully now I can post all of my pictures.

The Top of Utah Half Marathon was today and it was a great race. A year’s worth of running and conditioning has definitely paid off. Last year, my time was 1:54. This year I finished at 1:44. Mary came in around 2:20, but was really hurting. We took her to the hospital to get her foot looked at after the race. 20 days until the full marathon. I’m getting nervous!
Emma got sick on her first day back to school and Sam’s a little sad he doesn’t have his big sister to play with during the day, but Emma was excited to start the third grade!
September 25th. Day off. Joy unhinged.
Here’s a little nugget of joy from Gamestop that should crack you up…if…uh…you play Halo 75% of the year, like me, Mourga, Mama and Sneaky. And don’t say you don’t. It’s best to just accept it and smile.
And to double your excitement, you can watch the most recent trailer for the Halo 3 campaign gameplay.
Here’s a picture of Sam at the First Aid Station at Lagoon. Things to note: Sandy smiling, but really, she’s ready to bawl. Sam’s mask for the treatement, the heart rate monitor on his finger (his resting pulse was at 139; mine is a 40), the ice pack on his neck for the 104 fever and, of course, Sam’s eyes trained on that cops gun. I think he wants to be a cop. He asked me the other day, “Dad, do you work with the cops?” I said no and he gave me this look that said, “Loser.”
In “Anna and the King”, Anna goes to a country called Siam….is this a real country? If so where is it today….if not what country do they think it is in reference to?
Poor lil’ Sam got really sick at Lagoon this past Saturday. He had a asthma attack and we had to call the ambulance while at Lagoon. The paramedics arrived and gave Sam a treatment. It was like night and day and he instantly felt better, even chatting up the two sheriff’s deputies and the paramedics about Transformers. Here he is today with me and we’re wearing our Transformer shirts.
Just in case you didn’t see the blog for Raylee because of other posts. I posted it too early. Hope you have a great one Raylee.
