Pioneer Day in SLC

We drove down to SLC on Monday to pick up Barb’s car, take Emma school shopping and help Kathy and Humble set up flags for Pioneer Day. Thanks to Kathy and Humble for being gracious hosts, as always. Below are some photos of the kids doing their kid things, which at the present time includes oodles of Harry Potter hijinx, and a shot of Sandy and Kathy during our hoppin’ Monday night shenanigans.

JJ finished his copy Saturday and went to two plays in between pages. Who is li’l Spence supposed to be? Those are some cute pictures. I only have a couple hundred pages to go until I start Book 7! I can’t WAIT!

I only have all of book 6 before I read 7. But I have read 5 this summer along with a great pioneer book and I am reading a funny book called Strangling your husband is not an option. Dispite the title it is very complimentry of husbands. i am almost finished with it and I will be starting #6.

I just finished 7 this morning. It is so good. I wanted to reread 6 first, but I couldn’t resist. I still need to read 6 again, though, because I’ve forgotten a lot of what happened between Dunbledore and Harry, and Harry and Ginny. But 7 was awesome. It rocks!!! It’s so sad. You won’t believe who she kills off, who’s good, who’s bad, how it truly ends and what they become.

    Ginny Weasley is HAWT.

I’m getting ready to read the book now that I read the last chapter and know how it ends!!! Yippee!!! Hahahahaha! You people who wait for the end are really missing out.

I’m writing a series like this right now. Henrietta Cooter and the Witches of Caketown.

I finished it and loved the whole thing. It tood me 5 days because unlike what Father said he did ge his laundry done and food cooked and take me out to the villages and teach in between. He just didn’t get his head rubbed while we watched West Wing. It was the best book yet of the series. I found #4 in the Library and decided to read it now. It won’t be as intense though since I already read it once.
