This is my mom’s last year of teaching at LHS. She will officially be retired when school lets out next week. We had a chance to attend a special retirement ceremony last night. It was crazy to see teachers that influenced me when I was 13 or 14 and now I’m 32 (almost 33). In fact, one of my teachers, Mrs. Kinzer, still had an Underoos Yoda t-shirt that I brought to Spanish class in 7th grade. She saved it and gave it to my mom. That shirt is 25 years old!

Connie is so great. She has always shown our family love and kindness. She is a very hard worker and deserves a break!!! Thank you Connie for teaching not just kids but kids that so many others reject. You are an insperation!
