Hope you have a great day! I bet you will have fun at the Fire Station! You are a good boy and we love you!
OK, Sam built this “airplane” ALL BY HIMSELF! Yes, I am bragging and my kid is brilliant! I was just so shocked when he said, “Mom, look I made a airplane!” I just had to take a picture and share it with you all! Enjoy!
Yes, it is true! After 40 years of reporting the weather, Mark Eubank is retiring! I can still remember watching the news with Father just so I could see Mark’s weather reports. He has always been my favorite and I love to watch his broadcasts. Andy said that he’s never seen anyone so excited about the weather. It is true and that is why he is so fun to watch. Mark Eubank has educated, entertained, and reported the weather all of my life! Well, if you want to see his last report it will be the end of November. Also, you can leave a note for Mark at http://www.ksl.com/?sid=616015&nid=149.

Well, we also had a great time at Disney on Ice. The girls loved it this time, last time they didn’t like it all that much, but this time it was awesome.

Abigail had a great Birth-Day! Thank you all for the wonderful thoughts, presents, and visits. We love you all so much. We had such a fun time and Abigail had a great B-Day. We had McKey Ds for lunch, had a cowboy friends party, went to Sweet Tomotos for dinner and then went to Chuck E Cheese. Natalie did a great job on the party. The table and house was decorated so cute. Each kid got a junk bag that was denim looking and had a cowboy book, a cookie, treats, and all kinds of cowboy stuff in it. The dinner table was way cute with a horse table-cloth, plates and cups. The kids frosted horse shoes, stars, horses, and cowboy-boots. We also had a Pinota that was a horse. Anyway, it was way fun and as usual Ab was very, very blessed. Thanks again to everyone!

Had a wonderful time at District Conference this weekend. You can read all about it in my journal. Here are a few of the sceens. The first picture is of some of the Lao members that made the trip. Thirty-three all togeather not counting the senior couples. The next is the outside of the chapel in Udon. It is really nice. The next is the inside from the back of the cultural hall. It was filled with some sitting on the stage at the back of the hall. The next is a picture of two Lao members that were just baptized last week. The next is how a lot travel in Lao and Thailand. This sister is on her way home from the conference. I thought the little Micky Mouse added a little and might help Amy relate. The next is one of the ‘buses’ that brought different branch members in from outlying Branches. There were three of these of differing sizes. It was a fun weekend. Elder Hallstrom of the First Quorum of Seventies and a councilor in the Assian Area Presidency was there along with our Mission President, President Dodge.

Sorry we are late we have been gone for a few days and I forgot to send this before we left. You are a beautiful, smart and fun girl and we love you very much. Hope you had a supper Birthday!
Well…JJ and I just got back from Disney World. We had a GREAT time hang’n at Mickey’s house. It was a much needed vacation. The good news is I have three more days until I go back to work. I can clean my house and get laundry done…YAY! It is good to be home. We hit all 4 parks and had enough Disney to last a while. We spent the week playing and basking in 75-80 degree weather…we get off the plane and it is 39 in Utah. Welcome home! Just kidding it was so fun. Kathy came and picked us up at the airport and had Christmas music playing. It got me all excited to be home. Here are a few pictures of the FUN!

My pet project, a Utah Jazz blog, is now live an active. There are some small adjustments to be made, such as the addition of more links and the application of ads (got to make money somehow), but feel free and check it out, leave comments, etc. It’s a long term project that probably won’t yield a lot of traffic right away, but hopefully as the search engines pick up traffic and I leave comments on other NBA sites, it should become a popular destination and forum for Jazz fans.

I do not know how to order these pictures so they are not in any particular order. The first is a young man who sang a Lao song while the young ladies below him danced a Lao d. They all did a great job. The second is some kids entertaining themselves during lunch time. They are playing a game like jacks but with a marble (that bounces on the cement) and straws (for the jacks). The next is a variation of jump-rope. The are holding a rope around two girls about armpit high. The jumper jumps kicking her feet up behind her and snaging an outside rope and comes down inside. Then she jumps and snags the left rope with her left foot and the right with her right foot then when she comes down both legs are outside and the rope is inside her legs. She jumps and reverses the above. Now she is inside. Then she jumps and snags oneside with both feet and when she comes down she is outside. It is neat. The one of me is at the end of the baci everyone ties a string around the wrists of those being blessed and gives a little individual blessing. The one with Barbara is of when we first got there the kids were all lined up to greet us and put lathes on us. It was a fun day!
