Dracula’s Wife & The Pirate

No, it’s not the title to Sandy’s latest Danielle Steele novel, but what Emma and Sam dressed as for Halloween. It was colder than cold. And no one was giving out sugar-free candy. So sad. :(

Pumpkin Time!

The last time I carved a pumpkin, USU had a winning football team, mullets were the bomb, tight pants were the sweetness and nothing said “I’m a winner” like a freshly waxed El Camino. Alas, I digress! Here are our pumpkin masterpieces! Happy Halloween!

The Brown House

Yes, we are all on cloud nine from our wonderful weekend we had. First of all it started out on Friday. ShayAnn had a swim meat and did great!!! Took first place in every heat (race), and also by point system in her age group took forth over all. We are all so proud of her. She also needed new glasses so she gets them Early for her birthday. She looks darling in her stylish glasses.

Then our weekend couldn’t have turned out any better. J.D. was ordained a Teacher. In the circle was Andy, Bishop and Shane. Andy gave him a great blessing and I would love to thank him and let him know I am so glad to have him for my brother. We ate at the house and played games of course.

Just wanted everyone to dye of shock because I actually did something on the blog. Also because I am so proud of my great kids, there accomplishment, and I love them very dearly.

JD Becomes a Teacher

Today, Sunday, October 29th, 2006, JD Shane Brown was ordained a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood. It’s hard to believe that our little buddy is so grown up! It seems like yesterday he was turning one year old and the joy in all our lives. You’re a good kid and we are proud of you JD!

Yeah For MC

I don’t know if any one knows but MC beat Logan in football this last week! I read about the game and it was an awesome come from behind win! Poor Logan. It doesn’t pay to get cocky! Of course it was the Mini-Bowl and also the alum team.

The Past Week

We see a lot of goats. Khamphee is always breaking for them. The next picture is of a typical home out in the country. They build them on stilts, not because of the water but because that is where they live mostly during the day and a lot of them work in that area. The other was unique. It only has part of a roof but a big TV antena. I hope you can see the antena on the side of the house.

I ordered sweet and sour fish. It was really good but a little different in that it was a whole, uncut fish from head to tail. It was really good though. Barbara is beside the van that hauls the hygiene kits. It belongs to a member and he is paid out of the project budget. The last photo is of a typical class. We go into the classroom to hand out the kits. You can see one of the kits on the desk. The students are so respectful.
