Photos, Etc

The Dwight Cook website cannot post photos that are larger than 1600×1200 pixels, and, quite honestly, there is no reason on this good green Earth that you’d ever need resolution higher on your digital camera. My advice is to change the resolution on your camera to 1600×1200 (or lower) pixel dimension. However, if you want to post older photos or can’t figure it out how to change your camera’s resolution, you can re-size your pictures with a photo editor and then post them. I recommend you download and read how to use Photo Gadget 1.1, it’s free and easy to use. Also, if you need to learn how to post a picture, make sure to read the FAQ.

Also, make sure to select the appropriate category for your post. Categories can be found to the right of the text editor when you’re writing your post (for example: this post is under “Administrative”). And lastly, you don’t really have to sign your name to posts to let people know it’s you. The post slugline says “posted by [name], so make sure you have your name set to something that will let us all know who you are.

As always, if you have questions, please tap yourself in the head with a hammer. Haha! Kidding. Just give me a call.

ya, you don’t have to sign your name if you have a real name in the slug line. Take Boyd for example. He’s not the only cook or cookin around here!!!!!!
